Upgraded my Orbea again today (phase 2.. 2 more phases to go). Those >10 yrs LX parts have to go.. Got some advices from frens (chup, mr giant and sifu siong).. and came out wif SLX-XT rojak..ha ha.. SLX crank-set, both derailers, shifters + XT gears cassette and chains... + 1 specialized bottle he he..
Picked up my Orbea @ 430pm... Ready for testing.. tonite city ride.. flyoverz route..Rode from home in matang @ 8pm with Jai n Yan.. Basheer cud not join us due to some unavoidable circumstances.. Reached meeting point @ bus stop depan family cafe, jln hj taha at 8.15pm.. The feeling's totally different.. smoother and more fluent ngohet..wow!! Total riders tonite wuz close to 50.. unbelievable.. Flyover route - hj taha, bt 3 flyover, hornbill flyover, smpang 3 flyover, bkt pending n pit stop at arif food court..
My Orbea wuz totally different tonite.. feels like it jez came out of the fountain of youth.. yezar.. conclusion : money well spent..
